infini’s purpose-led business strategy is unique.  Deliberately different to many NGOs, consultants and platforms that are motivating individuals and organisations to purchase carbon offsets as a means to reduce their carbon footprint.  Climate change is not an issue that we can buy our way out of. We should be doing more than reporting the numbers without engendering a sense of understanding to people. We aspire to provide an easy-to-use solution for many to be able to use to affect positive change through science-based carbon reductions initiatives refined for consumers.

For the average consumer, stepping down your carbon footprint doesn’t have to be costly.  For the few higher emitting consumers, there is real value in investing in goods or services that enable a significant reduction.  In many cases it is recognising that a few effective lifestyle changes can make a real difference.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that our journey to date to affect change has been slow and meandering.  Momentum is now slowly building with organisations, but our time to 2030 is short.  The lifestyle change that many people need to make in their personal lives has yet to start.

For these reasons infini has been founded. To put into the hands of the 6.7 billion smartphone users, yes that is about 83% of the world’s population, an app that provides them the complete and localised consumer footprint drivers.  An app that uniquely empowers users with key measures of which brands are leading the way and a goal to take action to Stepdown8

Our focus on brands is an important element in our personal and work lives.  We tend to gravitate to our favourite brands to buy and use without a real understanding of the carbon impact that is having.  As an employee or team member we should be proud of our employer brand, and if work colleagues can assembly to contribute to ideas at work or home to make collective change that is very powerful.  

Infini has been founded as a purpose-led business with a singular focus on the environment and a clear focus to empower individuals across the planet to step down their carbon footprint. We’ve set an ambitious campaign for a micro business with the infini one hundred of seeking infini users to reflect, rethink and rotate and step down their carbon footprint by at least 100 million tonnes of carbon per year.
